monday yellow.
everyone's so tired!
school as usual today,
nothing special.
oh. we debated about secondary school today.
hah.
calvin's from dunearn sec,
neh & esther from angmokio sec,
xinyi's from st.magaret sec,
mingwei from riverside sec,
gabriel from xinmin sec,
peggy & sophia from northvista sec,
AND
me and saman from PRESBYTERIAN HIGH (:
okay. hahas. we were talking about school mottos the other day, and dunearn's is "determined and discipline"! haha. angmokio's is "always strive for the best", and PHS's is "A FLAME FOR TRUTH". and we were laughing at each others motto, oops, more of laughing at theirs. (:
so today we were saying about school song. haha! we deduced;
angmokio has a song like the tom and jerry song,
and calvin promoted his dunearn's song like so funny. haha.
and we were debating on the school names too.
why angmokio sec chinese name is "mo kio sec sch?" wheres the "ang"? xD
why are they called "am"ksians and not A-M-K sians? hoho.
so esther(being an "am"ksian) defended by saying;
why phs is called presbyterian HIGH, act high class.
and vaneh (being another "am"ksian) said; if amkss should have a chinese name "ang mo kio sec sch" (direct translated) instead of "mo kio sec", den phs english name should be "old people society", since the chinese is "zhang lao hui zhong xue". hahahs.
oh. and dunearn's chinese name is "de neng zhong xue". hah!
okay. it was kinda random thing, comparing school names after school while they were completing their geog essays. okay. it dont seem exciting here, cos i dont know how to express it here well, but it sure is super exciting when you're there on the spot, everyone trying to protect your own sec school, and trying their best to defend and shoot at each other. hah! actually, we're practising presentation skills for PW oral presentation thats coming up in a months time.
