today was another terribly long day in school. but time flies super fast, since there 2timed assignments consecutively after lunch, which took 3hours of the total lesson time today.
assembly today was about racial harmony. they had some racial harmony "superstar" kinda contest. the first video that they played about the maria hertogh riot when we are settling down at the start, reminds me of my secondary school, again. i remember how we used to watch maria hert's videos too, and i suddenly thought of my SS teacher, Ms Anne Kang [who is apparently MRS Lua now], and my lower sec history teachers, Mr Ash Ng and Ms Sharmila. what comes into my mind next is the sophisticated arrangements of the furnitures on the stage or anywhere else in the school for any particular event. All in all, it turns out to seem like its so common after four years there, but when you step out and enter another area of life, what seems to you as common becomes so special and unique in other people's eye.
well. do you actually understand what im trying to say? haha. cos im a little confused by myself alrdy. lols.
tomorrow is the
ALEVELS MT LISTENING COMPREHENSION EXAM (:hope that it will be of similar standard to the school's listening compre.
hope that it will be better than the oral exam that we took a few weeks ago.
